JACQUARD DEVELOPMENT
We develop digital jacquard projects in close collaboration with artists, from the first sketch and idea to finished woven textiles, including industrial production on the jacquard loom at Innvik AS.

To start an industrial weaving project with VEVFT at Innvik AS, the process begins with a non-binding meeting where we talk through your project, ideas and the possibilities for production.
A project can begin with a drawing, photograph, digital file or an existing artwork.
If you decide to move forward with the project, the next step is to develop a series of woven samples. These samples help us explore how the work can be translated into weaving and determine the direction for the final production.
From there, we continue developing the project through testing and adjustments.
An important part of the process is that the artist is present in Innvik during the final stage of production. This allows us to make the last adjustments together before the final weaving begins.
VEVFT follows the project throughout the process, from the first conversation to the finished woven textile.

• Density: 24 threads per cm
• Standard warp: black and white wool
• Length: flexible
• Materials: selected according to the project
• A different warp can be arranged at an additional cost
• Finishing and mounting should be considered early in the process -
PRICE
Every project is different, and the price depends on the complexity of the material you send us.
Once we have received your motif and discussed the project with you in an initial meeting, we will provide a price for the production.
