The curtains for Oslo City Hall's Banquet Hall were originally designed by Fredrikke Nicolaysen and executed by the Norwegian Folk Art Association (Den Norske Husflidsforeningen) between 1961 and 1963. Oddny Høysveen and Ingeborg Landfstatøyen were responsible for their production. The material was linen and cotton.

A reconstruction of the curtains was commissioned, and they were woven using period-appropriate materials. The new curtains were woven in Innvik in 2023.
